  Women have an important role in our church family. From teaching our little ones the basics of Christianity, to the “extra warm touch” they put on everything, Glenwood Church of Christ appreciates all of the little and big things our women do.

As sisters in Christ, we strive to continue to grow together, to spend time with one another, and help others when we see the need. From our teaching Sunday school, women’s Bible studies, to our pantry and clothing rooms, we have plenty of things for our women to be actively involved in the Lords church.



 


 


 


 


 


 


 


 


 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 


 

EVENTS

Ladies Bible Studies are held Tuesday mornings at 10:30 at the church building in the months of Sept-May. Any questions as to whether we will be holding class this week, please contact the church or Margret Mecum.


Ladies Night Out Our 7th Annual "Ladies Night Out" for 2009 is on the way!  October 27th in our Family Life Center.  This year's theme will be "Harvest Time".  All are invited.

Secret Sisters   December will be our "Secret Sisters Big Reveal Party" and selection of our new Secret Sisters.  If you haven't been involved, come to the Diner and get involved. It's a fun way to get to know each other more.

Ladies Prayer Breakfasts About 2-4 times a year the women get together and have a prayer and devotional.  This is a special time set aside to gather and talk to God as a group about the things that are especially weighing on our hearts (sick friends and family members, troops over seas, those struggling with their faith, etc.) Watch the church calendar for dates and times!

Ladies Stretching/Pilates Class   We gather every Tuesday night at 7:00 P.M. for a women's-only stretching/pilates style class.  Classes are free, and open to the public.  We have women of all ages and stages in their life involved in the class.  Classes are led by a certified group fitness/personal trainer.  These sessions last approximately 45 minutes and end with a scripture for meditation.  If you are interested in attending, contact Jessica, or email the church for more information! 

Pantry  A room with canned and dried goods that our congregation continuously donates to is kept fully stocked in case of natural disasters or special needs for families in our community.  If you wish to help with this ministry please contact Tammy, or our church.  If you know some one who is in need, please let us know!

Clothing Room Our clothing room is opened upon request to help those in need.  Our women help organize and hand out things from this room.  If you wish to help with our clothing room, contact Sandra.  If you know anyone in need of clothing, please contact the church and we will be happy to assist you!
